Khalila Chaar-Pérez (she/they) is a Philly-based Boricua community archivist committed to a liberatory praxis around archives, education, and movement work. She has many years of experience teaching and investigating Caribbean cultures as well as editing and translating both in English and Spanish. They hold a PhD in Latin American Literatures and Cultures from New York University and a Masters in Library Science and Information from the University of Pittsburgh. In her spare time, she enjoys nature walks, the beach, the arts, and dancing in cemeteries.
