Dina Hassan<\/strong> is a PhD candidate in international history at Harvard University. She received her MA from the University of Tokyo, where she researched African American and Japanese intellectual connections in the first half of the 20th century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dina has translated Yong-Song Ryang’s \u201cRacism in Japan and \u2018The 1952 System\u2019: Japanese Immigration Control Laws and the Rise of the \u2018Zainichi Privilege\u2019 Myth\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
