Lateral, the peer-reviewed, open-access publishing platform of the Cultural Studies Association, is searching for a book review co-editor to join Beenash Jafri.
The book review co-editor reports to the co-editors and will be responsible for regularly curating and producing a section of the journal dedicated to book reviews.
Duties include:
- Requesting books relevant to the field of cultural studies from publishers for review
- Soliciting and communicating with book reviewers
- Editing book reviews for content, style, and grammar
- Communicating regularly with Lateral co-editors
- Publishing book reviews on a rolling basis throughout the year
