They are a PhD Candidate in Gender & Women's Studies at the University of Arizona, and their academic work exists within critical disability studies, feminist science and technology studies, new media studies, and health communication studies with a focus on storytelling and biohacking. Their other writing and creative work centers them telling their own life story and seeks to connect to other domestic abuse and rape survivors.
